CMTS 1000 Installation Manual V1.2

IfSignalQualityEntry

The following paragraphs include the SNMP Syntax (Set/Get Response
and/or Status) and a general description of the status entry for each MIB
variable in the DocsIfSignalQualityEntry table.

The table at the CM describes the PHY characteristics of a downstream
channel. At the CMTS, the table describes the PHY signal quality of an
upstream channel. An entry in this table exists for each ifEntry, with an
ifType of docsCableUpstream(129) for Cable Modem Termination Sys-
tems, and docsCableDownstream(128) for Cable Modems.
