Connecting the ProMeter VDK Controller
WARNING! Risk of equipment damage, personal injury, or death.
Disconnect and lock out electrical power.
1. Disconnect and lock out electrical power at the plant circuit breaker.
WARNING! Operate only at the operating voltage shown on the ID plate.
NOTE: Permitted deviation from the rated line voltage is 10%.
2. Route an electrical service line that meets the following requirements to
the controller:

240 VAC, single‐ phase, 25 A 3.3 mm

(12 AWG), 90 _C (194 _F)
3. Route the electrical service wiring through the strain relief and into the
controller.
4. Connect the electrical service wiring to terminals 1 and 3 on ‐1Q11, the
main disconnect switch. Refer to the unit wiring diagram for details.
5. Connect the ground wire to PE ground terminal for the main disconnect
switch.
NOTE: If the plant electrical system is not grounded, make sure that the
ground wire connected to PE is attached to a reliable earth ground.
6. Verify that the ‐1Q21 main circuit breaker is in the ON state.
