Technical Servicing
9.1. General Requirements
Safety measures when servicing
Neuro-Audio-Screen
and
Neuro-Audio-
Screen/OAE
screening systems conform to the ones described in the section
1 “Important Safety Instructions”.
The qualification requirements to the medical staff are listed in the section 4.3.
“Requirements to the Personnel Conducting Mounting and Setting”.
The
screening system servicing in the process of operation includes the external
examination, check of jacks and cables, removal of contaminations from the units’
surface using wet fabric. These operations can be performed by the personnel
executing the screening system exploitation, and in case of the trouble detection,
address to the technical personnel.
The servicing of the bought articles included in the screening system is conducted
according to user and technical manuals or typical rules.
When detecting the troubles it is recommended to use the information given in the
section 8 “Troubleshooting”.
The screening system should be serviced while the operation on the device and also
maintained regularly. The volume of technical servicing is indicated in chapter 9.2
“Maintenance Works”.
The delivery set check of
Neuro-Audio-Screen
and
Neuro-Audio-Screen/OAE
screening systems is done by conformity to the device packing report.
9.2. Maintenance Works
The maintenance works include the external examination, check of connectors and
cables, removal of contaminations from the units’ surface using wet fabric.
The OAE probe tip is replaced only at clogging. Three tips for the replacement are
supplied with the screening system.
9.3. Cleaning and Desinfection
These screening systems may be wiped clean with a damp cloth using a detergent or
mild antiseptic solutions applied in the hospitals. Take care not to put excessive
pressure on the display window. Do not allow any fluid to enter the device. Do not use
the isopropyl alcohol or other dissolvent for the device cleaning.
