To set the date, choose the “Date” menu item using “up” and “down” buttons and
press “Change” button. The date setting window is represented in the Fig. 38.

In English language the date is entered in the same format it is represented in the
menu, i.e. “MM:DD:YYYY” (month/date/year). As for other languages (French,
German and Portuguese), the date is “DD:MM:YYYY” (date/month/year). The figures
in a position are changed by “up” and “down” buttons pressing. You can also change
the figure using the screen keyboard. To do this, press “Change” button. The
switching between the figure positions is performed by pressing “left” and “right”
buttons. After the date entering, press the “Close” button.
To change the time, choose the “Time” menu item using “up” and “down” buttons and
press “Change” button. The time setting window will display on the screen. The time is
entered in the same way as date, in the format it is represented in the menu,
“HH:MM:SS” (hour/minutes/seconds). The hour value is entered in 0-24 range. After
the time entering, press the “Close” button.
To change the display brightness, choose the “Brightness” menu item using “up” and
“down” arrow buttons. The “left” arrow button will decrease the display brightness and
the “right” one will increase it.
The device provides the possibility of automatic shutdown after the specified period of
inactivity. To set up this period, select “Auto turn off, min” item using “up” and “down”
arrow buttons. The buttons “left” and “-10” decrease the time by 1 or 10 minutes
correspondingly, the “right” and “+10” buttons increase the time by 1 or 10 minutes
correspondingly. If you decrease the auto turn off time up to lesser 1 minute, the dash
will appear opposite the menu item. It means that the device auto turn off is not used,
i.e. the device will operate constantly until it is off using on/off button.
