3.7 User Account Commands
This section describes the commands you use to add, manage, and delete system users.
The 7200 Series Managed Switch has two default users: admin and guest. The admin user
can view and configure system settings, and the guest user can view settings.
3.7.1 users name
This command adds a new user account, if space permits. The account
<username>
can be
up to eight characters in length. You can use alphanumeric characters as well as the dash
(‘-’) and underscore (‘_’). The
<username>
is not case-sensitive.
You can define up to six user names.

3.7.1.1 no users name
This command removes a user account.

Note: You cannot delete the admin user, and there is only one user allowed with
read/write privileges. You can configure up to five read-only users on the
system.
Note: You cannot delete the “admin” user account.
