Commissioning
The commissioning of the SK VAP humidifier requires appropriately trained technical
personnel.
Please pay attention to local regulations regarding working at heights and electrical work. Part of this
commissioning process is a disinfection of water tank and matrix. Please refer to the commissioning
section of the manual in full before commencing any work.
1. Programming the Controller - Set-up the microprocessor operating parameters for the application by following steps
1 to 22 of the “Programming Mode” on page 18.
2. Disinfection - Once the self-commissioning cycle is complete, to ensure complete hygiene of the system,
disinfection must be carried out. Ensure that the relevant chemicals, equipment and Personal Protective Equipment
are available to carry out disinfection as per the method statement in the cleaning and disinfection section of this
manual.
3. Putting the System into Operation - Check that all operating parameters are returned to the desired settings. Set-up
the microprocessor parameters for the applcation by following steps 1 to 22 of the “Programming Mode” on
page 18.
4. Final Checks - Ensure that the system is operating correctly. Check for any leaks from the SK VAP evaporative
module, and verify that the air supply is evenly distributed, and matches the design conditions for the system.
1 month and 6 monthly commissioning review
It is strongly recommended that 1 month after commissioning, and 6 months after commissioning, an inspection and
review of the system is made by a suitably qualified personnel. This is necessary in order to check that the unit is
functioning correctly and to make any minor adjustments that maybe required. These checks will also enable you to
work out how often servicing will be required.
