The monitor displays [- - / - -] (two dashes and two
dashes) and the

Pulse Search

indicator does not display

when the monitor fails to detect an

sensor or an

invalid sensor.

Backlight On/Off

The backlight turns off after approximately 10 seconds.

With the monitor turned on, press the

Backlight

button

to turn the monitor backlight on or off.

Caution: When adjusting any menu
parameter, the SpO

and BPM do not

display, but they continue to record.
