Discussion
Verify the monitor works properly and is safe to use.
Proper operation of the monitor is verified each time it is
turned on as described in this procedure. The verification
procedure Power-On-Self-Test (POST) takes
approximately 10 seconds to complete. When the
monitor is turned on, POST automatically tests the
monitor circuitry and functions.
Caution: During the Power-On-Self-Test (POST)
immediately after power
- up, confirm that all display
segments and icons are shown and the monitor
speaker sounds a one
- second tone.
WARNING: If you do not hear the POST pass tone,
do not use the
