CONDITIONS
General
The Single Line Telephones that are installed must provide dialling
signals accepted by the outside exchange (Dial Pulse or Dual-Tone
Multifrequency).
Only Single Line Telephones cross-connected at the MDF can be used
for this feature.
Single Line Telephones and outside lines connected during power
failure are fixed one-to-one.
System features cannot be activated from Single Line Telephones
when Power Failure Transfer is in operation.
When power is restored to the system, Power Failure Transfer is
cancelled. Calls in progress on Power Failure Transfer lines are
disconnected.
A CO/PBX line is automatically switched to locally provided Single
Line Telephone when total system power is lost, and system battery
backup expires.
