D-4 Sound Board Configuration

Audio Interface DMA Channel

The audio interface supports both low and high DMA channels for direct data transfer to the sys-
tem’s memory. Low DMA channels 0, 1 (factory default setting), and 3 are used to transfer 8-bit
data. The low DMA channel setting can be changed using jumpers DAS0 and DAS1, as shown
in Figure Appendix D-4.
