5-16    Desktop Repair 

 

Power Supply Removal 

Remove the power supply from the system unit as follows. 

1. 

Remove the top cover and front panel as previously described. 

2. 

Unplug the power cable attached to the system board's connector. 

3. 

Unplug the power cables from all installed devices. 

4. 

Remove the two screws securing the power button to the front of the system unit (see 
Figure Section 5-15).
