5-32 Installing Options

To install a 3 1/2-inch device in an accessible slot:

Remove the plastic blank panel from the selected slot
by pressing the panel tab and swinging the blank
panel out.

Removing the blank panel

A – Tab

Use a screw driver to remove the metal slot cover by
carefully pressing it until it breaks away from the
chassis.

CAUTION

Be careful of sharp edges!

Slide the device into the slot and secure the device.
