2-6   System Configuration

Quantum IDE Hard Drive Jumper Settings

The factory settings for the jumpers on the Quantum IDE hard drives are shown
in the following table. The settings are for a single drive installed in the system.
Specifications for the hard drives are included in Section 10.  

Quantum IDE Hard Drive Jumper Settings

Used to park DS jumper when drive set as slave device.

IBM IDE Hard Drive Jumper Settings

The factory settings for the jumpers on the IBM IDE hard drives are shown in
the following table. The settings are for a single drive installed in the system.
Specifications for the hard drives are included in Section 10.
