9-8 Upgrading Your Server

Notes on Installing N8150-207A/208A/209A Additional Hard Disk Drive (SATA2)

If N8150-207A/208A/209A additional hard disk drive (SATA2) is installed in N8100-
1241F/1242F NEC Express5800/120Rg-1 (SATA model), the slot number indicated in
Chassis ID is not identical to that indicated in [Disk Management] of Windows 2003.

When managing or replacing hard disk drives, be sure to verify the hard disk drive
number on POST screen before starting work.

NOTE:

To display POST screen, press

Esc

while NEC logo is

displayed on screen after power-on. If the POST screen proceeds faster,
use

Pause

to stop it.
