Advanced Message Settings

Advanced message settings provide the global options that apply specifically to SMS, MMS, or Emails.

To set the reply path option,

To establish SMS settings from within the Advanced menu screen,

Highlight and select On to provide a reply path for SMS messages. Highlight and select Off so that a reply path is not provided for SMS messages.

To set the SMS message center number from within the Advanced menu screen,

Input the Center center number and press

(Options Menu) to copy the message center number to the clipboard or cancel the process.

MMS Settings

This setting allows you to view a new message center.

To establish MMS settings from within the Advanced menu screen,

The message center name is automatically selected. Press Softkey1 (Details) to display the Center Name, Center URL, Provider Id, and To Proxy information.

twice to return to the Advanced options menu.

The SMS message center number is read
directly from your SIM card. If you manually
change this number, the SIM card will not be
re-written. In addition, if you clear the new
phone number, the original SIM message
center number will take effect the next time
you turn on your phone.
