Chapter1 General Description

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this NEC Scalable Modular Server.

This high performance server is powered by the latest microprocessor "Intel

Xeon

processor".

NEC’s latest technology and architectures realize high-power and high-speed operation that cannot be matched

by existing servers.

The server is designed with consideration of not only the density and reliability but also expandability, which

enables you to use it as a network server.

Read this document thoroughly before using the server to fully understand handling of the server and appreciate

its functions to the maximum extent.
