Turn off the DC power of the server module to be replaced from the EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 or the
remote KVM.
When you turn off the DC power by holding down the POWER switch, confirm that the POWER LED
lighting in green turns off.
Important Turn off the power of the server module of the server set before replacing the 10G
LAN module.
After replacing the 10G LAN module, start the server module and check if the 10G
LAN module is correctly recognized.
Important Backup the configuration of NW switch modules as required.
See “DX2000 LAN Switch Configuration Guide” for the backup procedure.
It is not recommended that you preferentially activate one side in a redundant
configuration of LAN of server modules. When the configuration of NW switch
modules is initialized, the initial switch side is enabled.
When you perform the operation by preferentially activating one side, stop the
setting before replacing the NW switch module.
