With the purchase of the SaHoMa
®
-II inhalation set for horses you are also
receiving a care and basics set. This should help you to fill and clean the
SaHoMa
®
-II mesh nebulization units. The medication and mixing cup should be
used for mixing and shaking the inhalation solution. The enclosed isotonic saline
solution 0.9 % enables you to start directly within the first few days, if you are still
waiting for your individual inhalation solution, for example.
To fill in the inhalation solution, use a syringe without a cannula to avoid foaming
during filling.
The filling of the SaHoMa
®
-II mesh nebulization unit should be the last step
before starting the inhalation . Leave the SaHoMa
®
-II mesh nebulization unit filled
as short as possible. Otherwise, the individual inhalation solutions may separate
again or push through the fine holes of the membrane, resulting in problems
during the nebulization process.
The maximum capacity of the mesh nebulization unit is 15 ml .
