7.9.2.2. Installing the disc

1. Clean the plane surface (3) of the bearing housing.
Pay special attention to the surface that is in contact with the disc.
2. Place the bearing housing (1) into the disc and tighten the four M12 nuts (12) of the
bearing housing.
Use new locknuts to fasten.

3. Replace the disc (4) onto to the coulter shaft.
4. Replace the washer (2) and fasten the bolt (1).
The left-side disc has a left-handed thread and the right-side disc has a right-
handed thread. The tightening torque is 200 Nm.
Ensure that there is an O-ring (3) at the base of the bearing housing and that the
ring is intact.
