Note 1. The “x” is a wildcard character.
Note 2. By specifying “Channel 0,” we instruct the

MVP2400/2410 to choose any available data

channel to carry the call.

Note 3. Note that Site F key system has only 30 extensions

(x7400-7429). This destination pattern (140226374)

actually directs calls to 402-263-74

through

402-263-74

into the key system, as well.

This means that such calls, which belong on the

PSTN, cannot be completed. In some cases, this

might be inconsequential because an entire

exchange (fully used or not) might have been

reserved for the company or it might be

unnecessary to reach those numbers. However, to

specify only the 30 lines actually used by the key

system, the destination pattern 140226374 would

have to be replaced by three other destination

patterns, namely 140226374

, 140226374

, and

140226374

. In this way, calls to 402-263-74

through 402-263-74

would be properly directed

to the PSTN. In the Site D outbound phonebook,

the 30 lines are defined exactly, that is, without

making any adjacent phone numbers unreachable

through the voip system.
