8.7.1 Fuel system – Venting

Preconditions

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

WARNING

Fuels are combustible and explosive.
Risk of fire and explosion!
• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.
• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, and safety glasses / facial protection.

Venting LP fuel system

1.

Remove cap from vent valve (2).

2.

Open vent valve (2) and connect suitable
hose (inner diameter 6 mm).

3.

Provide suitable container to collect escaping
fuel.
