Corrective action

The coolant temperature at
sensor B6 has exceeded limit
value 1. The coolant temperature
is too high.

1. Reduce power.
2. Check operation of cooler and fan (plant).
3. Check engine coolant level (→ Page 244).
4. Contact Service.

68 – SS T-Coolant

limit value. An emergency engine
shutdown has been initiated.

1. Acknowledge alarm.
2. Observe any other messages.
3. Contact Service.

90 – SS Idle Speed Not Reached

Cause

Corrective action

The engine has failed to reach idle
speed within the defined time
after reaching starter
disengagement speed.

1. Check pressure supply (plant) of starter.
2. Check fuel filter, replace as necessary (→ Page 213).
3. Check fuel prefilter, replace as necessary.
4. Observe any other messages.
5. Contact Service.

91 – SS Release Speed Not Reached

Cause

Corrective action

The engine has failed to reach
starter disengagement speed
within the defined time after
reaching starter speed.
