Under starting state, if you have conductivity measurement parameter, you can start measurement
directly by pressing ‘MEAS’ key, otherwise you have to press ‘START’ key, select measurement
mode and then select conductivity measurement parameter.
(Please refer to ‘Setup Measurement
Mode’ for details).
The display is as the chart.
On upper side of the screen is present measurement mode
and system time.
Measurement main window displays current conductivity
and relevant resistivity, temperature value.
Measurement and display will be slightly different according to measurement mode. During
measurement, you can re-calibrate electrode, setup measurement parameter. After measurement, you
can store, print measured data. Press ‘CANCEL’ to finish measurement.
4.9.2. Cell Constant Calibration
Each electrode is marked cell constant when ex-factory(for reference only). If you suspect the
correctness of cell constant, you can re-calibrate cell constant according to following procedure:
Select suitable standard solution (see chart 1) according to cell constant. For the compound, please
see chart 2, the relationship between standard solution and conductivity value, (see chart 3).
Connect the conductive electrode with meter, temperature electrode must not be connect with
meter, the meter shows temperature value by manual, set temperature as 25
℃
by manual, the
conductivity value displayed now is the absolute conductivity which is not be temperature
compensated.
Wash the conductive electrode with distilled water.
Insert conductive electrode into standard solution.
Control solution’s temperature as (25.0 ± 0.1)
℃
or (20.0 ± 0.1)
℃
or (18.0 ± 0.1)
℃
or (15.0 ±
