On top of the screen is previous calibration data
At the bottom is current conductive parameter value
including ‘Cell Const’ (cell constant) and ‘T. Coef’
(Temperature coefficient).
Press ‘ENTER’ key and select ‘Print Cali.Data’ to print out calibration data when the meter is
connected with PC.
Setup Cell Constant
Every conductance electrode has its own cell constant value, operator should input the value into
instrument. After meter has been used for a period of time, if the cell constant is suspected not
precise, you can calibrate the cell constant with conductive standard solution again.
Operation:
a. Press F1 and select “PARA” by pressing F3;
b. Move cursor to “View COND Para” by press F2 and then press “ENTER” key;
c. Press F1(
CONST
) to enter into
Set Cell Constant
mode. There will be an input window,
please input new cell constant then press ‘ENTER’ key.
So there are two ways to set current cell constant: one is to re-calibrate with conductive standard
solution. As soon as calibration finishes, meter will calculate cell constant automatically. The other
ways is input cell constant value directly.
Note:
You can only select one method. Presume you get cell constant through calibration previous
time and now you want to input cell constant directly, meter will delete previous calibration
data, so please take care.
Setup Temperature Compensation Coefficient
If meter is required precise measurement, the influence of temperature will cause inaccurate
measurement of conductivity. At this time you need to setup temperature compensation coefficient,
the default value is 0.020.
Note:
Generally it is not necessary to set temperature compensation coefficient, the default
temperature compensation coefficient is 0.020.
Operation:
a. Press F1 and select “PARA” by pressing F3;
b. Move cursor to “View COND Para” by press F2 and then press “ENTER” key;
c. Press F2(
T.COEF
) to enter into
Set T.Coef
mode. There will be an input window, please input
new temperature coefficient then press ‘ENTER’ key.
