PT-7828 User’s Manual

Featured Functions

System File Update - By Backup Media

User can use Moxa’s Automatic Backup Configurator to save and load the configuration of
PT-7828 managed switches through the switch’s RS-232 console port.

Restart

This Restart function provides users with a quick way to restart the system.

Factory Default

This function provides users with a quick way of restoring the PT-7828’s configuration to factory
defaults. This function is available in the serial, Telnet, and web consoles.

NOTE

After restoring the factory default configuration, you will need to use the default network settings
to re-establish the web or Telnet console connection with the PT-7828.
