Using HTTPS/SSL

To secure your HTTP access, the PT-7828 supports HTTPS/SSL to encrypt all HTTP traffic.
Perform the following steps to access the PT-7828’s web browser interface via HTTPS/SSL.

Open Internet Explorer and type https://PT-7828’s IP address in the address field. Press Enter

to establish the connection.

Warning messages will pop out to warn the user that the security certificate was issued by a

company they have not chosen to trust.

Select Yes to enter the PT-7828’s web browser interface and access the web browser interface

secured via HTTPS/SSL.
