CHRONOGRAPH MODE
In Chronograph mode, these models can be used to
time an event up to 12 hours in duration to the nearest
second. The chronograph will automatically reset
after 11 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds of continuous
running.
To enter Chronograph Mode from Local Time Mode,
quickly press and release crown

twice.
Chronograph Display
There are three possible display modes:
•
Initialization/Reset: The chronograph is not currently
running or has been reset.
•
Running mode: The chronograph is running.
•
Stop mode: The chronograph was started and then
stopped, but not reset.
To operate the Chronograph:
Use buttons

to operate the chronograph.
From Initialization/Reset display mode:
Press button

to start the chronograph.
From Running display mode:
1. Press button

a second time to stop the
chronograph and read the elapsed time;
2. OR press button
B
to restart the chronograph
(Flyback mode).
From Stop display mode:
1. Press button

again to restart the chronograph,
returning to running mode.
2. OR press button
B
to reset the chronograph to zero.
NOTE: While the chronograph is running or stopped,
you may switch to Local Time Mode at any time by
double-pressing crown

press will take you to Countdown Mode, the second
double-press will return you to Local Time Mode.
Reading the Chronograph Display:
Hand

indicates elapsed hours.
Hand
M
indicates elapsed minutes.
Hand
S
indicates elapsed seconds.
The small hand in Mode Subdial
F
indicates “CHR”.
The small hand in Date Subdial
D
points to the
current date.
Left running, the chronograph will automatically reset
after 11 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.
COUNTDOWN MODE
Just like an oven timer, a countdown timer is set to
monitor and go off at the end of a specified length
of time. It can be used, for example, to track 2.5
accumulated hours of bike riding or to time a
30-minute jog.
