Insert the supplied M8 screws, washers and nuts to fasten the back bracket to the mounting
bracket.

Adjust the unit to put the GPS in upright position.

Tighten all the fixing screws.
CAUTION:
Tightening torque cannot exceed 12.5 Nm (9.22 ft-lbs).

Adjusting the Tilt
SLX 5000 can be tilted up or down using the adjustment slots on the main unit. It allows for maximum
system optimization, coverage increase and reduction in interference.
Prerequisites:
Ensure that SLX 5000 unit is securely mounted in place. See
Installing SLX 5000 on a Wall on page 29
.
Procedure:
1
Loosen the four bolts on both sides of the mounting bracket.

Adjust the unit to the required tilt.
3
Tighten all four bolts on both sides of the unit.
NOTICE:
SLX 5000 unit body has a yield of maximum tilt of +20º up and -30º down.
