Best 10 Seconds of ECG
The ELI 280 incorporates a 5-minute memory buffer for collection of ECG data. When Best10 is enabled, the
device will automatically select the best 10 seconds of ECG data from within the 5-minute buffer. The best 10
second determination is based upon measurement of high and low-frequency noise found in the 10-second ECG
segments.
When Last10 is selected the device will automatically present the last ten seconds of ECG from the data stored in
the memory buffer.
Selecting Best 10 or Last 10
1.
Select
from the real-time display to acquire an ECG.
2.
From acquired ECG view, touch anywhere on the red grid ECG to open the configuration screen.
3.
Select
Best10
or
Last10
.
4.
Select
OK
to save the selection, and reformat, print, and display the ECG. Select
Cancel
to exit
without saving.
NOTE:
If a single limb lead or two precordial lead fail condition occurs, the Best 10 feature is disabled
until the limb lead fail or precordial lead fail condition is resolved. Once the condition is rectified the Best
10 feature automatically becomes available.
Configuring the ECG Report
The ELI 280 can automatically print up to nine copies of the ECG report following acquisition. Print format, trace
speed, ECG gain, ECG filter setting and pacer channel can be set as a default in the Configuration menu, or
configured per ECG by touching the red grid screen display. This will allow for selection of plot format, gain, speed,
and filter setting change for the selected patient.
To change print format of an acquired ECG
1.
From acquired ECG view, touch anywhere on the red grid ECG to open the configuration screen.
2.
Select the desired choices for Print Format, Print Speed, Print Gain, Print Filter and Pacer Channel.
3.
Select
OK
to save the selection, and reformat and display the ECG. Select
Cancel
to exit without saving.

Select

Send
,
Erase
, or
Done
.
To automatically print (or not print)
1.
Select
from the real-time display.
2.
Select
Advanced
followed by
ECG.
3.
Use the double arrow (
) to locate the # Copies: setting.
4.
Touch the number of copies field and select the desired number of copies from the dropdown menu. Select
0
to ensure the printer does not automatically print the ECG following acquisition.
5.
Select
Done
to save and return to the Configuration menu, or select
Cancel
to return without saving.
