WARNING!
Risk of injury from exceeding the usage
limits!
Exceeding the set limits for use of the
device Ä Chapter 3 “Technical data”
on page 10 can cause injuries and mate-
rial damage.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, the
device is not suitable for pressure reten-
tion without flow. This can cause over-
heating and the destruction of the device.
3. Increase speed and pressure slowly to the
desired operating values. Adhere to the
limits for usage on the type plate, the order
documents and any enclosed drawings as
necessary.
4. Check for leaks.
6.6 Measures in case of leaks
during initial commissioning
If leaks occur during initial commissioning, proceed
as follows:

n Specialist staff

Switch off the entire plant and secure it to
prevent it from being switched back on.
2. Disconnect the connections from which
media is leaking and check the sealing sur-
faces for damage and soiling.
3.
Clean the sealing surfaces or replace the
screw connections as necessary.
4. Re-establish all connections.

7 Maintenance
7.1 Safety instructions
WARNING!
Risk of injury from mechanical move-
ments!
The movements of the system or machine
in which the device is installed can cause
severe injuries.
– Before any work, stop any mechanical
movements and secure against
switching on again.
WARNING!
Risk of injury from fed media!
The fed media may be pressurised and
can cause serious injuries.
– Before any work, de-pressurise the
device and secure it to prevent it from
being switched back on.
7.2 Maintenance schedule
The device is largely maintenance-free. No main-
tenance work can be performed on interior compo-
nents.
The following cleaning and inspection intervals
may need to be adapted to the actual operating
conditions. In case of questions about mainte-
nance work and intervals, contact the manufac-
turer, see

on page 6 .
Have the following work performed daily:
n Clean the device.
n Check the media line.
n Clean the full filter for the media supply.
