How does it work?
1. Place the test item(s)

into the liquid and then place the disc

on top of them to
submerge them fully into the liquid.

On flat lid versions the disc is mounted underneath the lid

.
2. Place the lid

or

on the tub

. Make sure that the lid is placed inside the edge of the
tub all the way around (see detail).
3. Start the test.

The VC1400 automatically performs the predefined test sequence as described in
"Performing a workflow/test" on page 44 .
4. After testing, remove the lid

or

and the disc

, and then removed the test item(s)

from the desiccator.
CAUTION! Special care should be taken when removing the disc and test pieces
after a “Blue Dye” test, as the blue liquid may be difficult to clean off some
surfaces.

