2.3 Available M24M Accessories - Overview
NPA-PoE Set
(MX-NPA-PoE-EU and MX-NPA-PoE-INT)
The MOBOTIX Network Power Adapter Set (NPA-PoE set) is a high-quality, robust, ultra-
compact, and, above all, multifunctional PoE injector with three connectors (network,
camera/PoE device, PC) and a universal power
supply unit with adapter plugs. The Network Power
Adapter Set remotely supplies the M24M and all
other PoE devices with power in accordance with
the IEEE 802.3af standard. This makes it possible to
use the network cable to both connect the camera
and remotely supply power (up to 100 m). As a result,
the M24M can be supplied with PoE power via the
adapter and connected directly to your PC (integrated
crossover function).
A further advantage of this product is its versatility. The
blue adapter can be connected to the diferent power outlet systems around the world using
the power supply unit. The device can also be directly connected to network-independent
power sources between 12 V and 42 V. This is ideal for the battery-operated, standalone
operation of a network camera. This device is especially practical because the supplied
power supply unit can be used around the world by changing the adapters as required
in just two simple steps. The "EU" version of the NPA-PoE Set is supplied as standard with
a European adapter, while the "INT" version includes 4 adapters (EU, USA, UK, AUS).
Lens Cover With Glass Pane
(MX-M24M-OPT-LCSG)
As an additional accessory, the M24M with standard lens
(M14 thread) can be supplied with a protective cover that
has a glass pane instead of one made of plastic. This
will improve the durability of the lens cover when used in
extremely rough conditions (at sea, in sand storms, etc.).
This lens cover also has a thread size that its external
ilters (40.5 mm x 0.5 mm) available from photo shops.
For example, you could install a polarization ilter to cancel
out the relections from windowpanes or windshields.
Using this lens cover together with the L22 Super Wide
Angle lens is not recommended, since this lens cover
produces shadows at the image borders. The (longer)
cover supplied with M24M models with the CSVario lens
is equipped with the glass pane as standard.
