3.7 Digital I/O Connector
The Digital I/O connector is a 25-way D-Type socket mounted on the rear panel of
the unit and labelled
DIGITAL I/O.
It is used to provide alarm output signals and
process trip signals. It can also be used to connect accessories such as a Remote
Vacuum Controller, analogue output module, analogue input module and Valve
Controller.
The Digital I/O port provides:
Two 8 bit bi-directional ports, one interrupt / strobe input
+5V fused at 100mA
±
15V fused at 100mA
