Insert the short circuit jumper between 
the

RED

 and 

BLACK

 terminals as 

shown on the right. 

When the short circuit jumper is 
present, there is an electrical short 
placed across the LD terminals.  This 
prevents electrostatic discharge from 
damaging the LD Module.

Disconnect the 

CN5

 thermal switch 

relay connector (located on the left side 
of the Marker). 

5.

Disconnect the LD protection relay, 
Peltier power supply and LD Power 
Supply connectors.
