Alarm Message Description Corrective Action
REFLOW ALARM: Increase
Heating Rate Actual thermode temperature never
reaches the LOW LIMIT value during
the Reflow time period. Set Course Heating Rate one setting
faster.
Increase the LOW LIMIT value.
Increase the Preheat Time.
Check cables between the Control
output and the Reflow Soldering Head
for loose connections.
Check connection between the
thermode and thermode holder for
loose connections.
Increase the diameter of the cables
between the Control output and the
Reflow Soldering Head.
REFLOW BELOW
PREHEAT TEMP SETTING New Reflow temperature value is less
than the Preheat temperature. Press the Reflow °C key and re-enter a
value that is more than the Preheat
temperature.
REPLACE THERMODE:
Reset Replace Counter Replace Thermode Counter has
reached zero. Reset Replace Thermode Counter.
WARNING! PREHEAT IS
ALWAYS ON Thermode remains at Preheat
temperature continuously when not in
a reflow process cycle after being
programmed to remain on. Press the Setup key.
Select Reflow Settings.
Set Preheat to Timed or continuously
on, depending on application
requirements.
WARNING! POWER MODE
IS ON Power mode is turned on or off while
in the Graph or Data screen by
entering the sequence 1, 0, 1, 2, 9. This
mode means that the upper and lower
temperature limits programmed at the
Reflow screen are ignored. Turn this mode ON / OFF.
WRONG
THERMOCOUPLE. Thermode or thermocouple extension
cable mismatch with calibration T/C
type. Use correct thermocouple and
thermocouple extension cable.
