Draining the cylinder
1. Switch off the immersion heater(s), boiler and any other heat
sources.
2. Switch off water at mains.
3. Open nearest hot tap.
4. Open drain to start draining the cylinder.
To re-fill follow the commissioning instructions.
Flushing the cylinder
To flush out the system, drain the unit as above, fill and repeat.
If after recharging the expansion vessel the cylinder is still dis-
charging, it may be due to cross-flow - ensure appropriate check
valves are fitted. The pressure reducing valve, one of the relief
valves, or the expansion vessel may have failed. The component
should be identified and replaced by one supplied by Mixergy Ltd.
