Setting up the Pi5500 from a Windows Computer
Timeout (seconds)
—Enter the length of time in seconds that the Pi5500 should try to
connect to each e-mail server before determining that the connection is unsuccessful.
Polling Interval (seconds)
—Enter the interval in seconds at which the Pi5500 should
automatically check for new e-mail.
Attachment Maximum Size
—Select the maximum file attachment size recommended
by the network administrator at your site. If you are uncertain of the setting to use,
select the default value (1000).
Mailbox Account Name
—Specify the mailbox name on the mail server. This tells the
Fiery client mail service which account contains e-mail messages for the Fiery. The
mailbox name may include the following characters (maximum of 14):
! # $ % & ' * + - / = ? ^ _ ' { | } ~ 0-9 A-Z a-z

The account name entered in this field must already have been set up on the
mail server by the administrator.
Fiery E-mail Address
—The format is “username@domain”. The username can include
the following characters (maximum of 14): 0-9 A-Z , ! # $ % & ’ * + - / = ? ^ _ ' { | } ~
Password
—Enter a password to access the mailbox account on the mail server. The
password can include the following characters (maximum of 16):
ASCII Characters and Printable characters (numeric decimal range 32-126).
Verify Password
—Re-enter your password.
Administrator E-mail Address
—The format is “username@domain”. The username can
include the following characters (maximum of 14): 0-9 A-Z,!#$%&’*+-/=?^_' {|}~
The administrator can authorize a unique E-mail address to remotely administer the
Fiery E-mail services via e-mail. The administrator can authorize additional e-mail
addresses as administrators from this e-mail address.
