Note In the following steps, “ Data ChX ” represents Data

14. Press the Up or Down arrow keys, as required, to
move the cursor to the
Data ChX: option required.

15. Press the Down arrow key to move the cursor to the
T1/E1 X option. Observe the cursor changes to a >>
cursor.
16. Press the SEL key or Right arrow key to select the T1/
E1 X option and observe the cursor changes to a >
cursor.
17. Press the Up or Down arrow keys, as required, to
move the
> cursor to the Ln Coding: option. See
Figure 3-162 .

18. Press the SEL key or Right arrow key to select the Ln
Coding: option and observe the > cursor changes to
a ! cursor.
19. Press the Up or Down arrow keys, as required, to
select
On or Off .
20. Press the SEL key and observe the ! cursor changes
to a > cursor.
21. Press the ESC key repeatedly until the Main Screen is
displayed.
Note Changes to Presets are not automatically saved.
Changes to Preset settings will be lost if the Preset
is recalled before Preset setting changes have
been saved.
To save Preset setting changes, go to step 22. To
recall T1/E1 line coding state Preset settings
established prior to performing this procedure
without saving the latest changes, go to step 23.
22. To save Preset setting changes, perform “Save Preset
Settings” on page 3-154 . Procedure is complete.
23. To recall Preset settings without saving the latest
changes, perform
“Recall Preset Settings” on page 3-
155 .
