SI Service Information
Simplex A channel capable of transmitting information in only
one direction.
Site ID A physical location where any number of modems,
transmitters, or receivers are installed.

Subcarrier An electromagnetic signal that is used as a medium
for placing an information channel above another
information channel.

into individual subcarrier signals. Also called Y/C
Video. Composite Video combines them into one
signal.
