The DX-2200 will capture data from the following NMEA 0183 sentences: $GPGGA, $GPRMC, $GPGLL,
$PGRMF, $GPVTG, $GPGSA, GPGSV, $PGRMV, $PGRME, and from Garmin proprietary sentences
$PGRMT, and $PGMID.
Table 18 lists the data fields that are captured by the DX-2200 and the NMEA 0183 sentences that provide
the data. If the GPS has not been configured to output one or more of the sentences for a data field, then
that field will contain an empty string. Refer to the instruction manual of your GPS to determine how to
configure it to provide the required sentences.
Refer to the NMEA 0183 standards or your GPS instruction manual for more information about the data
format of your GPS.
