9.9 - Locking or unlocking the RME memory
This procedure enables the user to lock and unlock the RME memory to prevent accidental memorisation of other transmitters not envisaged on the system.
01.
Press and hold the key
■
(for approx. 5 seconds)
, until the motor performs
1 VIBRATION
; then release the key.
02.
Press and hold the keys
▲
and

(for approx. 5 seconds)
, until the motor performs
4 SHORT mo tions
; then release the key.
03.
Then:
• to LOCK the memory, press key
▲
once;
• to UNLOCK the memory, press key
▼
once;
The motor then completes
3 LONG motions
(= memory locked/unlocked).
Caution
!
– If the memory is Blocked, and the user attempts to memorise a Transmitter, the motor performs 1 SHORT motion (= memory blocked) in
place of the usual 3 LONG motions envisaged in the transmitter memorisation procedure.
9.10 - Total deletion of the memory and restoring factory settings
Caution
! –
This procedure deletes all data in the RME memory, including positions “0”, “1”, functions and codes of memorised transmitters.
The procedure can be performed with a memorised transmitter or one that is not.
• With a transmitter already memorised:
01.
Press and hold the key
■
(for approx. 5 seconds), until the motor performs
1 VIBRATION
; then re lease the key.
02.

5 LONG motions
(= Memory deleted).
• With a transmitter not yet memorised:
01.
Disconnect the motor from the power supply (if connected) and then reconnect. Within the next 60 seconds, press and hold the key
■
, until the motor per-
forms
1 VIBRATION
; then release the key.
02.
