Seats
The Citan offers the familiar high level of seating comfort of Mercedes-Benz vans. The seat upholstery including
seat hardness is based on a newly developed foam pad which has a similar feel to that used on other than model
series. Comfort-oriented fabrics reduce perspiration and are particularly easy on the skin.
Various seat models are available:
Driver and front passenger seat
• Driver seat with emergency exit (SA)
• Vertically adjustable driver seat (standard on
passenger van and Mixto in combination with left-
hand sliding door)
• Folding front passenger seat (standard on
passenger van, optional for panel van)
• Two-seater front passenger seat (optional for panel
van)
Seat heaters for the driver and front passenger seat
are available. The heater is activated and deactivated
by pressing the switch.
Rear bench seats
Two different folding 3-passenger bench seats are
available for the rear:
• 1st row rear bench seat, folding 1/3:2/3 (standard
on Mixto and passenger van)
• 1st row rear bench seat, (SA on Mixto) with
integrated wire mesh partition
This can be converted into a partition wall with grille
(see chapter on cargo area concept). This turns a
vehicle with five seats into a vehicle with two seats
and additional cargo area.
Two additional special equipment options for the
passenger van provide additional comfort on the rear
seats:
• Folding table and seat pockets on driver and front
passenger seat
