Overall vehicle

Introduction to CITAN, Model Series 415

l

Steering wheel

The vehicle is equipped with a 3-spoke steering wheel
(370 mm) with Carbon design as standard. It can be
adjusted to an optimal driving position using the
manual height adjustment function equipped as stan-
dard.

A leather steering wheel is available as special equip-
ment for the passenger van.

The cruise control including variable speed limiter is
installed directly above the steering column switch.
The turn signals, front and, if applicable, rear window
wipers, high beams and headlamp flasher can be oper-
ated using the combined steering column switch on
the left. The external vehicle illumination, front fog
lamps and rear fog lamp can be operated using the
rotary light switch.

Information can be selected and displayed on the
instrument cluster or the trip odometer can be reset
by pressing the button of the onboard computer
multiple times.

Controls

Most of the switches and controls of the Citan feature
the same functions, labels and shapes of the usual
Mercedes-Benz controls and they offer the same
familiar high level of operating comfort.

The hazard warning system and side turn signals are
activated by pressing the hazard warning system
button.

The button for the central locking/unlocking allows all
doors/liftgate to be locked or unlocked simultane-
ously. When the ignition is switched on, the indicator
lamp integrated in the switch provides information
about the status of the doors, hood and flaps. When
the doors are locked, the indicator lamp goes out. If at
least one door is unlocked, the indicator lamp lights
up.
