In order to mount new scouring wheels push back the socket halfway into the scouring head. Now you can
alternately put on the spacers and the scouring wheels. Putting on the fourth spacer ends this process, after
which the socket can be pushed into the scouring head entirely. Now the M8 screw can be entered through
the drilled hole and the socket and fastened with a turn to the left. Finally, the scouring head can be inserted
into the machine and fastened to the drive shaft.
Note that the scouring wheels can become jammed due to the dust generated from scouring work. This
results in a reduced surface removal rate and greater wear on the wheels. For this reason, ensure that the
wheels can always move freely. If the machine and its wheels become dirty, be sure to clean them.
5.3 REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSHES

professional. The carbon brushes have a lifespan of approx. 50 hours or 10,000 activation/deactivation
instances and should be replaced when worn down to approx. 7 mm.
The inspection and replacement of carbon brushes should only be carried out at MENZER service workshops.
