Show Playback menu - DISPLAY
In video recorder mode, press the
DISPLAY
button, to show the Playback bar.
A menu with the following items appears: The display may vary with the type of video cassette.
Playback functions
Search
You can can cue or review the tape at two speeds.

If you press the buttons

or

during playback you will start the search function. The picture remains
visible and you can follow the course of the search.

Press PLAY/PAUSE to resume normal playback.

If you want to fast forward or rewind the tape at maximum speed, first press STOP and the

or

buttons.
Slow motion
To let the picture run forward or back in slow motion, proceed as follows:

During playback press the SLOW - or SLOW + button.

Pressing the correct button again increases the speed.

In order to execute the playback at normal speed, press PLAY/PAUSE , or STOP , to stop playback.
Counter status
It may be helpful to mark a place on the tape if, for example, you wish to return to this place at a later time.

Start a recording or playback

At the place to which you would like to return later, press the CLEAR button on the remote control. The
tape counter is set to 0:00:00.

Continue the playback or recording.
For returning automatically to the set zero display (0:00:00), read the chapter VCR on page 35.
