Open the regulating valve (1) by turning it 

anticlockwise.  Use the control valve to set 

the gas flow rate to the required value for 

the treatment:

Increase the gas flow rate

 

Turn the control valve anti-clockwise.

Reduce the gas flow rate

 

Turn control valve clockwise.
