5. Display does not alter
with applied load.
Check gauge user configurable settings, max
reading set, average over time, etc. Factory
default gauge settings.
Check load cell connection.
Check load cells mV offset alters with applied
load.
Test with known working load cell.
Test with known working PCB

Replace load cell / PCB.
6. Keypad doesn’t work.
Check keypad connection with PCB
Check PCB for liquid ingress.
Test with known working keypad
Replace PCB / Keypad

8. LCD displays.
Reprogram the PCB with the latest version of
firmware (see section 4), whilst programming,
ensure that the lockbits and fuses are set
correctly.
9. LCD flashing and/or
buzzer sounding with a
Smart connected.
When the AFG Mk4 was introduced the
charger was upgraded from 60mA CC to
100mA CC as the charger could not sustain
the PCB's power requirement with a Smart
connected. (Worse case scenario for AFG
current draw; Smart connected and back-light
on).
Ensure that the charger is 100mA CC and
supplied by Mecmesin.
Check charger output with a DVM
