Mecmesin Interlocked Machine Guarding

Using a suitable metric Allen key remove the fixings screws from the lower section of the right-

angled bracket, as shown in the image above. This will release the lower base plate from the

guard.

Step 4 – Removing the Guard’s Base Plate

Carefully lift the upper guard away from the base plate and place it to one side on a suitable

work surface.

Ensure safe handling procedures are followed when lifting the guarding
assembly.
