Mecmesin Interlocked Machine Guarding

Step 6 – Mounting the MultiTest to the Guard’s Base Plate

Secure the guard’s base plate to the test stand using the four supplied M6 x 35 countersunk

screws (420-638). Each screw should pass through the guard’s baseplate, then through one

of the supplied spacers (409-080), before locating in the threaded holes on the bottom of the

test stand. This is shown in the image below.

These spacers must be fitted between the guard’s baseplate and the test stand to ensure the

stand is sufficiently cooled during operation.
