Managing packages and extensions

manually

In addition to using the Software Manager, policies, and task to manage product packages and
extensions, you can manage them manually

Contents

Bringing products under management

Use this task to install an extension (zip) file. A product's extension must be installed before ePolicy
Orchestrator can manage the product.

Ensure that the extension file is in an accessible location on the network.

Checking in packages manually

Use this task to manually check in the deployment packages to the master repository so that the
ePolicy Orchestrator software can deploy them.
